Getting ready for Halloween!

Last night, Branden and I got together with some good friends and had a pumpkin carving "social".  :)  We had a a great time and I got some nice compliments on my Shroom beret!

Some new yarn, a new project, and a new season...

I was snooping on Ravelry a few days ago and happened across the adorable Shroom pattern .  I immediately ordered the luscious looking yarn from Spud and Chloe in a wonderful periwinkle blue.  I will be casting on tonight!  Stay tuned!

I know it's already October, but let me show you around my classroom...
